Airlines & Hospitality Industry Job fair at SSGI

The job fair aim to provide platform for graduates to get job at lurative pay package in international and national airlines and hotels chain of repute. Top airlines and hotels will be participating in above job fair, they would be recruiting for flights steward, Air hostess, ground staff, Hospitality, personal and guest relation excuting position. There is lot of demand for skilled manpower in the aviation and hospitality sector.Students from various Top Colleges from all over North India, from various Universities, Colleges affiliated Institutions have been invited to participate in the job fair. There is no registration fee for the fair and any graduate interested to work in the airlines or hotel sector is welcome to participate.

SSIHM Celebrates World Tourism Week
|
|
Like every year, this year too World Tourism day was celebrated by the students of Hotel Management of Sri Sukhmani Institute of Hospitality & Management, Dera Bassi with fun and frolic to preserve our culture & to promote tourism so that to add to the economic development of our country.
On the occasion of this special day the students visited the Chandigarh Airport. They welcomed and greeted the domestic & international tourists, who landed here to visit the City Beautiful. The tourists were surprised and overwhelmed with such a warm welcome by the hospitality students. They were all welcomed with flowers and a smile and escorted to their respective vehicles in the parking lot. It is really a wonderful way of spreading the message of “Atithi Devo Bhava”.
To mark the celebrations of this week students visited the CITCO hotels as an industrial visit and were shown around all the departments of the hotel

Flower Arrangement Competition
|
|
Students of B.Sc. HMCT, participate in flower arrangement Competition held by the institute. They arranged the flowers in such a manner which was worth-seeing.. Ms Gaganpreet Kaur and Ms.Parvinder Kaur (Sem. - 6th Students) were appreciated by all and they both were the winners of the day and were presented awards by the principal.

Freshers’ party
|
|
Freshers’ party was organized to welcome the new entrants of the institute with lot of enthusiasm. Senior students performed various entertainment programs for the freshers and the freshers mingled with the seniors to know them better. All students had refreshments along with the faculty.
